Meet the Signature Orthodontics team

Introduction

Dr Preet has been practicing as a dentist for 20 years, and graduated from Birmingham University in 2000 - winning the Walpole-Day Prize in Orthodontics.

He undertook several posts involving Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Paediatric Dentistry and Treatment under Sedation. He also worked concurrently in General Dental Practice.

During this time, he obtained membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Qualifications

In 2005, Preet underwent specialist training in orthodontics at Birmingham Dental Hospital. During this training, he was awarded Master of Philosophy (Orthodontics).

In 2008, he obtained Membership in Orthodontics at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He is registered as a Specialist Orthodontist with the GDC, which recognises that he has followed the highest standard of training possible in orthodontics in the UK.

Experience

Preet has considerable specialist practice experience from working in a number of well-established specialist orthodontic and private cosmetic dental practices in the West End of London and the Midlands.

Special interests

Dr Preet has a keen interest in contemporary adult orthodontics and interdisciplinary treatment. He also takes special interest in the use of aesthetic braces like lingual braces and Invisalign® clear aligners. He is one of the leading providers of Incognito™ in the UK.

Hobbies and interests

In his spare time, Dr Preet enjoys keeping fit, playing football and socialising. He has travelled extensively, including to many global orthodontic conferences where he enjoys meeting up with international colleagues.

Victor has over 18 years' experience providing orthodontic care to adults and children. He qualified as a dentist from the University of Hong Kong, ranked the world's No. 2 dental school according to the QS World University Rankings. Victor was awarded a prize for his research by the university, which he later presented at the International Association for Dental Research (IADR) Congress. He subsequently worked in a busy private orthodontic practice in Hong Kong gaining experience in orthodontics, oral surgery, and multi-disciplinary treatments. He completed his specialist orthodontic training at one of Europe's largest and most prestigious medical universities, the Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, Sweden.

He was awarded a Master of Medical Science by Karolinska Institutet and Membership in Orthodontics by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He is fully registered with the General Dental Council in the UK as a Specialist Orthodontist.

Victor has been working in a large group orthodontic practice in England for over 10 years and was promoted to clinical lead in 2019. He joined Signature Orthodontics in 2022.

Victor is married with two young children. He has been fascinated by physics and Albert Einstein since he was a child. He also has an interest in history. He loves skiing, and during the years he lived in Sweden, you could always find Victor on the slopes at weekends!

Dr Semina qualified in Dentistry from the University of Birmingham. She completed orthodontic specialty training at the Eastman Dental Hospital, and was awarded a distinction by University College London.

Semina is a Consultant Orthodontist at Birmingham Dental Hospital and trains both undergraduate and postgraduate students. She has published in peer reviewed journals and presented internationally. She is heavily involved in multidisciplinary care and has interest in treatment of facial deformity alongside surgical colleagues.

Dr Visram prides herself on her attention to detail and strives to maintain an ethical and caring nature. She provides a variety of orthodontic procedures and is treats complex orthodontic conditions.

Away from orthodontics, Dr Visram enjoys the outdoors. She has completed many hikes in the UK and abroad. She enjoys travelling and is involved in a number of charity projects worldwide.

Yasmin is a highly accomplished dentist, having earned her degree with honours from the University of Birmingham in July 2011. During her undergraduate studies, she distinguished herself by earning several prestigious awards that reflected exceptional academic ability and dedication to her field.

Following graduation, Yasmin immediately became a member of the prestigious Faculty of Dental Surgery, an elite group of dental professionals who are recognised as leaders in their field. She also earned a Postgraduate Certificate in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry, which has helped her to develop outstanding expertise in the art of creating beautiful smiles.

Yasmin is passionate about providing the highest quality dental care to her patients and has particular interest in cosmetic dentistry. She is highly skilled in a range of treatments, including Invisalign, composite bonding, veneers, and smile makeovers.

In addition to clinical work, Yasmin is a respected authority in the field of cosmetic dentistry. She serves on the Editorial Board of Aesthetic Medicine Magazine, where she collaborates with other leading dentists to produce innovative and informative articles on the latest trends and techniques in the field.

Yasmin is deeply committed to making a positive impact on the world and has volunteered her time and expertise on numerous medical aid trips to provide urgent dental care to orphaned children affected by war. Her efforts have been recognized with several prestigious awards, including Best Young Dentist in the Midlands in 2018 and Best Young Dentist, overall UK winner 2020.

Introduction

Suky is our Practice Manager at Signature Orthodontics. She graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 1992 with a BA (Hons) Degree in Modern Languages and Literature.

After graduation, Suky undertook further study and completed her Post Graduate Certificate in Education at the University of Manchester. She has held various positions teaching Spanish and French over a period of 15 years, along with numerous management and leadership roles.

At our practice

Suky will be your first point of contact at our practice. She has a professional, friendly and approachable manner and will be on hand to advise and support you throughout the course of your treatment.

Having undergone orthodontic treatment herself very recently, Suky has the added bonus of understanding the patient’s perspective. She will always try to provide answers to any questions or concerns you may have. She has the ability to 'think on her feet' and feels this will be a positive attribute in her new role as Practice Manager.

Hobbies and interests

In her spare time, Suky enjoys keeping fit, socialising with friends and practising her salsa dancing. She is a keen traveller and is already thinking about her next adventure abroad!

Introduction

Dominika has worked exclusively in orthodontics since 2009. Her passion for orthodontics has led her to develop her skills and achieve qualifications in Dental Radiography.

Dominika underwent full-time training in orthodontic therapy at Leeds Dental Institute and Neo Orthodontics in Newcastle upon Tyne. She gained her Diploma in Orthodontic Therapy from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2013.

At our practice

Since 2013, Dominika has been working exclusively with Dr Preet Bhogal. Her caring nature and enthusiasm helps to put patients at ease and assists them in choosing the most appropriate treatment option available.

Her special interest is the use of aesthetic orthodontic systems that enable individuals to achieve the smile they have always desired in a discreet and efficient way.

Hobbies and interests

Outside of work, Dominika loves to spend time with her new baby boy Arjan and her beloved British blue kitten Indy, both of whom keep her on her toes!
